We, Molten Music Technology Ltd, have computer music orientated systems that we build and sell. You, the customer, has a need for computer music oriented systems. That sounds like a match made in heaven to us. For our part we will endeavour to provide a stable platform for music production. Intel and Microsoft technology is amazing but it's not perfect and so we cannot guarantee that your experience will be entirely trouble free, however, we will do our best to minimise the possibility of issues and work with you to resolve any problems should they arise. The customer has to understand that they hold responsibility for the software and applications they install on their systems - we will always help and advise when we can. The customer is also responsible for their own data and Molten Music Technology Ltd cannot be held responsible for any data loss for any reason. The moral of the story being - back up your data!
We will happily install your main DAW software and audio interface to enable us to properly test the system. Well install any software purchased from us but would rather not install additional software you already own, especially if they come with masses of DVDs full of instrument library - but you can always ask.
We will not under any circumstances install illegal, borrowed or "cracked" software on our systems. We're not idiots and understand that these things exist and can often work well but they can sometimes contain certain nasties that can harm your system. If you run into problems and need our support then we would expect illegal software to be uninstalled first - if you don't wish to do that then you need to provide your own support.
We reserve the right to alter the internal components of any system without notice due to technological changes or availability. They would always be replaced by something of similar or better performance and quality.
Once you've purchased a Molten MT computer we consider you to be part of our family. We will support you in your use of the computer for as long as the system still functions. We are always happy to answer questions and give advice and support regardless of how long ago you made your purchase.
With regards to hardware warranty all our systems come with a one year warranty as standard which can be extended to three years at the time of order. In the event of hardware failure during that time we will cover the cost of courier pick-up, repair/replace, labour and courier return (couriers within the UK only). Outside the warranty period the courier costs and repair/replace costs would need to be met by the customer, however, we would never charge for our time regardless of how far out of warranty the computer is. Some individual components have longer manufacturer warranties and we would use those if available outside of our own warranty period.
International customers would have to cover all courier costs of any returns at any time.
Before you do anything else please contact us and let us discuss whatever issues or problems you are having. The majority of return requests come about through misunderstandings or user error and we can help you with that. Our commitment is to provide you with a system that will run music software and hardware successfully but we know that sometimes it's difficult to integrate your equipment with a new computer - let us help you do that. Our systems are custom built to order and so do not come under the usual Consumer Rights Act, however, for regular systems we will do our best to honour the act in the event that it's not working for you.
Here's what you need to know about our return and refund policy:
- You have the right to request a return on any item (exceptions see number 2 & 3) for any reason within 30 days of receiving the goods. Acceptance will depend on the level of customisation.
- Any software items that have been unsealed and installed by either you or us at your request cannot be returned.
- Any items specifically ordered in for you that are not part of our usual advertised offerings cannot be returned.
- You must contact us in writing by post, fax or email within those 30 days to request a return.
- Outside of 30 days please contact us to discuss any issues or difficulties you may have.
- The cost of returning goods is down to you. We can arrange a courier collection on your behalf at your cost. Please ensure everything is packaged properly as any damage due to bad packing could affect your refund. Delivery charges are not refunded.
- A return must be agreed with us. Any goods returned without authorisation will not be accepted.
Ultimately we want you to be happy with your purchase and will work with you to ensure the system is running to your expectations.
Refunds will be issued on receipt of goods after testing and taking into consideration the condition. It may take up to 30 days for the refund to reach you. Delivery charges are not included in any refund.
We keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from Molten Music Technology Ltd, you provide your name, email address, credit card information, address, phone number and a password. We use this information to process your order(s), to keep you updated on your purchases and to personalize your shopping experience. Our secure servers protect your information using advanced encryption techniques and firewall technology. To keep you informed about our latest offers, we may notify you of current promotions, specials and new additions to this store. You may unsubscribe from our newsletters by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you receive from us. We use "cookies" to keep track of your current shopping session to personalize your experience and so that you may retrieve your shopping cart at any time.
Delivery and Shipping
All our systems are made to order and so are not held in stock ready for purchase and delivery. The normal delivery time for a regular system is 1-2 weeks. This allows for the purchase of parts, the installation and testing of the system and a contingency for components being out of stock with our suppliers or arriving faulty. Quick turn arounds are possible upon request and also delivery times may get extended due to the number of builds we are doing at the time of order. We will always keep you up-to-date on the progress of your system and will arrange a suitable delivery day once the system is ready to go. We cannot specify a delivery time but you will get a courier notification of a delivery window on the agreed day (UK only). Delivery to European destinations may take longer.
We delivery only to the UK and Europe. Outside those territories things get too difficult in terms of hardware support and the shipping costs in repairs or returns and so we are unable to delivery to the rest or the world at this time.
If you'd prefer to collect your system from us then that is certainly possible and please contact us to make arrangements. Be aware that we are half an hour north of Norwich and about 4 hours from London.
